Three students from 9AG have made it through to the semi-finals of the New Zealand Spelling Bee.

Congratulations to Catie Stead, Zoe Petersen and Mason Connor. They will be competing at the Regional Finals next term against 280 other students.  

In order for schools to advance they needed to get over 80% accuracy.

Our students had to correctly spell words such as phlegmatic, anthropogenic, dystopian, mendacious, and chauffear.
