In addition to the $133,000 worth of tertiary scholarships that were announced at Senior Prize Giving, two more students have been awarded Scholarships with a combined value of $10,000.

Riley Wilson and Thamos Harrison have been awarded University of Canterbury Hiranga Scholarships valued at $5000 each. The total amount of scholarships now sits at $143,000 for UHC students.

In addition to this good news, two of our Year 13 students who were studying first-year University Mathematics papers and who were also awarded Scholarships, have now had university grades released.  

Head Boy and Dux JP Opperman and Flora Tang have both gained A+ grades for the Mathematics papers they have been studying while completing their NCEA Level 3 studies.  In addition, Grace Tilley receieved the same grade for her Massey University Human Biology paper.  A big congratulations to these students from the whole Upper Hutt College community.
