The Amazing Race has come to UHC!

UHC Admin —

On a cloudy Thursday afternoon, competitors took to the Sports Centre in what would be the most important house event of their lives: participating in the Amazing Race! Blake House leader Ryan Smoothy gives us the run down.

With Blake House leading by only 10 points for the House Trophy, and a tie for second, the pressure was on.

Each House had a team of eight people, split up into pairs to partake in events around school. From the daunting three-legged race, mind boggling riddles and a very tense drawing competition, Houses had to race to events and back for extra points.

Blake was the fastest team, having all their members back to the Sports Centre first! As results came in, the scores were close, leaving the drawing game as the decider of what House would win The Amazing Race.

At the end, Blake came out on top, with 16 event points, followed closely by Te Kanawa, with 14 points and Jackson with 13, followed by Hillary with 7 points.

A massive thank-you to all those who helped make the Amazing race so amazing!
