Year 10's ace learning@home

UHC Admin —

Happiness is not something readymade, it comes from your own actions. This was the theme of the Year 10 competition set up by our Student Leaders during a rostering of learning@home.

There were 4 categories students could enter in the competition:

  1. Pet Photography - looking for the most fashionable furry friend.

  2. Best Baker - cake, cookie, muffin…who had the most delicious, well presented baked goods.

  3. Poetry - who had a way with words.

  4. Art - who could redesign a famous art work and relate it to the theme.

We had a number of fantastic entries but the overall winners were:

  • Izzy Irving 10SC (Pet Photography)

  • Sasha Clapham - 10AG (Pet Photography)

  • Isis Steer - 10RG (Pet Photography)

  • Livvie Wikstrom - 10KR (Best Baker and Poet)

  • Isabelle Radcliffe - 10AG (Poetry)

  • Jane Young 10SC (Best Baker and Artist)

Head of Year 10, Amy Perkins was very impressed with the standard of the entries to the competition.

"Well done to all the Year 10's that got involved and took happiness into their own hands".
