Foods and Hospitality Students Explore Culinary Delights
In the Foods Department, the Year 11 Food and Nutrition students have been investigating how NZ eating patterns have been influenced by many different cultures.
As a part of this the students made a range of foods from different cultures, and also participated in the Bento Box competition for the Anime themed Library week.
The Year 13 Hospitality students are currently studying a wide range of culinary terms and in their practical classes they are preparing a selection of relevant food items.
This week the Year 13 Hospitality students have also enjoyed a trip to Randwick Meats and the Aro Bake to learn about meat processing and artisan bread making.
