The ADV301 class has been desperate to venture out and test their climbing skills but had their tip delayed three times due to weather. Fortunately, the weather finally played ball this term and students enjoyed a stunning day of climbing.

The class climbed at Babies Bottom in Titahi Bay, where they completed grade 16-20 climbs working towards achievement and unit standards for NCEA Level 3.

The climbs were very difficult and resilience and perseverance were the key attributes required. Students supported each other in great displays of whanaungatanga.

The trip was well worth the wait!
