Year 10 Foods students have been developing a Festival Food themed gift to give to a staff member.

Most students produced a Christmas themed gift but they were able to choose any Festival. 

Students worked through the design process in their theory classes and produced a digital portfolio. 

In practical lessons students put the theory into action creating fondant decorations, seeded crackers, cookies, shortbread, jam and fudge. 

The best part was delivering the gift to the chosen staff member and seeing their surprise and gratitude.
