Our French exchange student Vanessa (mid photo at back) came to our French class in Māori Language /Exams week. Teacher Ali Taylor tells us what happened.

Vanessa introduced herself with a PowerPoint model that the Year 9's are now going to follow. We sat in a mihimihi circle and introduced ourselves then she served us breakfast. 

Vanessa helped us say baguette, beurre, fromage, jambon, Nutella! for what we wanted to eat. You can see there was not much left by photo time! It was a col authentic language challenge! Merci Vanessa.
