Keiran pushes for KTM selection in Spain
UHC's Keiran Mair is continuing to ride from success to success. The Year 11 motorbike racer is travelling to Guadix, Spain for the Red Bull Rookies Cup selection process.
UPDATE: Just last week, Keiran attended the Red Bull Rookies Cup Selection, where 111
of the world's best junior riders from 30 countries were invited to compete for the 10 spots
available. Over a 3-day period, Keiran and the only other NZ'er invited (Tyler King) took part in a number of races, and although Keiran wasn't selected this time, he had a fabulous experience.

Keiran, shares his thoughts from Spain:
"It has been a wicked experience to try out for the Red Bull Rookies Cup and compete against the world's best junior road racers. Unfortunately I didn't make it onto the team for 2024, but I have a better understanding of what is required to get into top level racing, and have set myself goals to work towards with my racing.
I have had an incredible time learning about a different culture and soaking in the rich history of Spain. After the selection event in Guadix we drove to Aragon race track where we were guests of the AGR World Junior GP team. I've been able to see what makes a championship Grand Prix team work while supporting our good mate and fellow kiwi, Cormac Buchanan, while he kicks goals on the world stage.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to go to Spain and give it a shot, and for all the support I've received along the way."
Well done Keiran - we are all proud of you!
