Junior Activity Day lots of fun!
Junior students finished the year in a spree of fun-filled 90 minute activities.
With plenty on offer to choose from, students signed up for activities from cupcake-making, Christmas tree building, inflatable fun, sports, Fifa World Cup, painting, and much more.
One of the options on Activity Day was Christmas Tree making from pallets. A small team led by Mr Carew and assisted by Ms Hofsteede, cut down pallets with saber saws, jig saws and circular saws. These were then reassembled as Christmas trees. We had one 'commission' - the big tree was to be dropped off at the Shona McFarlane Retirement Village. This was delivered by Aaron Martin-O'Halloran and Mr Carew the day after Activity Day and was gratefully received. Great work by Aaron, Otaumaha Aromana-Edwards, Joseph Salmon, and Ella Waight.
