50 students from UHC, accompanied by a number of teachers have started fundraising for their 2024 UHC Europe Trip.

The trip leaves in April 2024, and the group will spend 3 weeks in Italy, Spain, France and England, enjoying the great culture and sights of places including Rome, Barcelona, Paris and London. The last trip to Europe was scheduled to go in April 2021, but the uncertainties around COVID at the time meant it was cancelled. So, everyone is excited at this opportunity, even if it is 3 years later.

The photo above is of the 2019 trip to Europe, which had a History and Classics focus. The group was at Westminster Cathedral attending the ANZAC Day service and were especially honoured to have Jordyn Hammond speak at the ceremony.

Fundraising for the trip has started, and events already in planning include Quiz Nights, Sausage Sizzles, and Movie Nights. The first fundraising effort is already underway - the Mother’s Day Raffle – with tickets on sale at $2 each or 3 for $5. See further information in this Newsletter.
