International student homestays needed

UHC Admin —

Upper Hutt College are looking for homestay families for our international short stay Japanese students arriving August 1st and leaving August 14 this year.

Upper Hutt College will be welcoming a group of Japanese International students, who will be in school during the week and with you during the weekend.

We are looking for kind, caring families to support these students during their time here.

You will be paid a remuneration of $39.85 per night per student for this role and receive ongoing support from the International Department throughout the duration of your student's stay. We can double up students in homestays for this group but they must have their own bedroom.

All persons living in the homestay over the age of 18 will need to be police vetted by Upper Hutt College.

The application process can take some time so if you are interested in hosting these students please contact Belinda Walker, International Homestay Manager, or the Deputy Principal Janetta van Maren. Please call 04 527 8749 or email international@upperhutt.school.nz
