UHC's Ricky Huxedurp has finished as the top Year 10 student in the Wellington Secondary Schools Powerlifting Competition. He also finished as the third placed male in the Under 16 category.

Ricky was in great form and lifted an impressive squat of 145kg, bench press of 90kg, and a dead lift of 180kg - a total of 415kg.

Ricky did UHC proud, being moved from flight A to flight B after the first round. The event, held in Upper Hutt, was open to all schools in the Wellington area.
