Upper Hutt Judo Club, which operates out of the Maidstone Park facilities, has been part of the Upper Hutt sporting community for a number of years.

Led by dedicated coaches, the club fosters both young and old judoka to build their fitness, confidence, trust and teamwork within the judo martial arts discipline. 

For young people in the community, judo offers a way to develop social connections and problem solving skills while instilling values such as good character, honest conduct, respect, discipline, self-control and perseverance. 

These skills learnt on the judo mat carry through to other areas of life.

 Interested students are welcome to come along to a training night to look around.
