Upper Hutt College's first (in quite some time) Pasifika Fono was held in the staff room and was widely attended by families and students. Teachers Donna Devaroe and Ofisa Taeao run through the successful evening.

It was an amazing evening, the first of what we hope will be many, where our Pasifika families can gather together and talanoa their thoughts and ideas around Pasifika achievement at UHC. 

We were blessed by both the Reverend Alapati at the beginning and the amount of generosity from families, as they brought in food to share and ideas for the growth of our Pasifika students in our school. 

We are excited to continue to host these events moving forward and look forward to working with our newly formed Pasifika Parents Committee and all of our Pasifika families.
