Chloe wins double gold!
10NV's Chloe Tame has won gold in the freeskate grade and character solo as part of the NZ Ice Figure Skating Association competition.
In Ice Figure Skating, freeskate is a 1 min 40 sec choreographed programme that must contain certain jumps, a spin, a step sequence and an optional jump to music of the skater's choice.
It is judged by a large panel and scored on both technical and skating skills.
The character solo is a 1 min programme made up by the skater to music of their choice.
Chloe's success has not come about by chance, she practices 4-6 hours a week and is truly dedicated to her sport.
