Level 3 Hospitality students have enjoyed a field trip to McDonald's Silverstream and a 'Chef for a Day' experience with Weltec tutors. Teacher Anna Holman tells us about the experiences.

During our McDonald's visit we went behind the scenes, experiencing the food safety practices they have in place in both the kitchen and storage areas.

In 'Chef for a Day' we were part of an exciting dessert presentation by visiting chefs and learnt more about the Hospitality programmes Weltec delivers at their Wellington Cuba Street Campus. 

We enjoyed learning more about how to taste and new techniques and presentation tips.
