.. that UHC has a Community Defibrillator (also known as an AED - Automated External Defibrillator) ?

This is situated on the field side of the Sports Centre, by the main back door. The area is easily accessible through the gateway between the Sports Centre and the astroturf courts. This outdoor defibrillator station is available to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Defibrillators are placed in an area where members of the community gather such as around libraries, schools, shops and sports grounds. Providing 24/7 AED access in public places increases the chances of survival for people who have heart-related emergencies. For every minute defibrillation is delayed, the chances of survival drops by around 10%.

Please note, there is also a Defibrillator located in the Medical room by the Main Office - this is only accessible during Office hours.
