Hospitality Galore At McDonalds

Year 13 Hospitality and Catering students went to McDonald's Silverstream to increase their understanding of food safety. Teacher Anna Holman tells us about their time there.

The McDonald's Managers were extremely knowledgeable and gave us an excellent tour of the restaurant food preparation areas and the storage areas including the cold storage facilities at -19°C! 

This tour was a great way to experience food safety procedures in the Hospitality industry. 

We finished the tour by sampling some of the menu items on offer, it was a really enjoyable experience.
