Year 9 Prizegiving Award Winners
Year 9 students were recognised for their academic achievements, sports efforts, service and leadership at the Year 9 Prizegiving, held on the last day of the term.
The top Year 9 award is the Sir Edmund Hillary Cup. This is awarded to a Year 9 student for their classroom achievement and their commitment to the core values of Upper Hutt College. This year's recipient is Ruby Meates (9BD).

Year 9 Certificate of Achievement
The Certificate of Achievement is an award for Junior students, recognising their academic achievement, self-management and social co-operative skills and their work completion. Attendance and participation in extra-curricular activities are also recognised.
To gain a Certificate of Achievement endorsed with Excellence, students must gain a minimum of 1200 credits out of a maximum of 1400.
Riya Naidu gained her Certificate of Achievement endorsed with Excellence with the highest total in Year 9 -1365 out of a possible 1400.
