The Government has announced that face masks are a requirement on public buses.
Any student who is travelling on a public bus must wear a face mask, this includes if a student is using the bus to get to school.
If the bus is a dedicated school bus with only school students on it - face masks are not required. However, the rules on only allowing students to sit and not stand will apply. These rules are laid down from the Government and in turn Metlink.
