Eggcitement was building up amongst the Year 9’s on the 31st of March. They were desperate to get into the school hall, eagerly waiting for an early sugar intake in forms of brightly coloured eggs. Year 13 Student Libby Hurren tells us about events.

The Easter Bunny’s little helpers were pretty sneaky this year, hiding eggs between stacks of chairs and PEEPING from under curtains. 

The hall was packed to the rafters, with Ako leaders egging the juniors on, dropping hints here and there. The juniors were scrambling around to get their hands on as many treats as possible, with them not carroting about how much sugar they ate. 

Teachers and leaders had a hopping good time snapping pictures of the chaos that ensued. 

At the end, Miss Hofsteede and a few eggsperts filled some baskets for those who weren’t as lucky in their hunt before they headed back to class
