The Year 12 Gateway class has attended an eventful and throught provoking Youth Responder course at school.

The course is designed to teach young people how to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Specifically, workplace fires. 

Part of this course is learning how to safely use fire extinguishers. Students were lucky to have a chance for some practical, hands on experience of putting out a fire with a fire extinguisher. 

This course is part of the class's preparation for going out into different workplaces on work experience.
