Will Robinson secures prestigious rugby scholarship
Upper Hutt College's Head Boy Will Robinson (left in pic above, with Brodie Krippner) has been awarded a $5000 scholarship to attend the International Rugby Academy of New Zealand (IRANZ).
This exciting opportunity will see Will participate in a 7-day elite training camp at the state-of-the-art New Zealand Campus of Innovation and Sport (NZCIS) facility.
At the camp, Will will be training alongside some of the best young players from across New Zealand and beyond, gaining valuable insights and experience from top-tier coaches, including the likes of Colin Cooper, Christian Cullen, Aaron Mauger, and Chris Jack.
When asked about the opportunity, Will expressed his enthusiasm for learning as much as possible, not just about the game but also about leadership. He is also looking forward to making new friendships through rugby and, of course, taking full advantage of the world-class facilities at NZCIS.
We wish Will the very best as he embarks on this exciting journey to further his rugby career! Lastly, thanks to Upper Hutt College Old Boy and local rugby legend, Matt Luamanu for all the assistance in supporting Will to receive this opportunity.
