Te Kanawa Hits High Note At Top House
In hot sunny conditions the blue house, Te Kanawa, prevailed over their counterparts in a range of activities during the annual Top House competition.
Students sprinted, climbed, chanted, pulled, slipped, moved water and captured flags on the day that many look forward to.
In a tense and close run relay, the staff were in the lead for most of the race until the legs of the final runner went too fast resulting in a slip and fall. Year 13s came through and happily accepted the win.
The final standing for the Top House competition were:
1. Te Kanawa 1069.5
2. Jackson 917.5
3. Hillary 905.5
4. Blake 880
