UHC staff were handed down a challenge from Year 13's for a game of basketball and later netball. Bragging rights were firmly on the table and it was the staff that schooled the students in the end, winning both events.

In a reasonably tight and tense basketball game, the staff happened to have Wellington Saints Kenneth Tuffin, who accounted for a number of the points. The highlight of the game came when Kenneth dunked over an unsuspecting student.

A week later, the staff did it again - this time on the netball court.  Leading for most of the game, the staff ran out 13-10 winners.
