Congratulations to Olive Connolly, Year 12 for being selected to play in the Pasifika Aotearoa Collective Festival in 2024, and for the South Island Scorpions Rugby League nationals in September!

During the holidays, Olive competed at the NZ Māori Rugby League National Kōtiro Tournament U17s.This was a huge tournament, with representatives from New South Wales and Queensland and over 12 teams competing. 

Olive was named in the Aotearoa New Zealand Māori National U18s team who will play in the Pasifika Aotearoa Collective Festival in 2024 against Toa Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, Hakula Tonga and Tokelau.

Olive has also been selected for the South Island Scorpions to play in the Rugby League Nationals in September.

Lastly, earlier on in the year Olive represented Canterbury League U18 Girls squad to play at the New Zealand Rugby League National District 9s competition, and was named in the National U18’s 9’s tournament team.
