This week we shine a light on our Canterbury Hockey Reps, the CSS Road Champs team, Sophie Chitty, Pippa Jory, and Flounna Mosa.

CSS Road Champs Team

This week we had students competing in the CSS Road Running Championships. Isabel Prescott placed 2nd in Year 9 and Lily Dunne came 8th. In junior girls, Zoe Ball placed 4th and Lily Wilson 12th. In the senior girls race Lily Alexander placed 3rd, Amelia Henstock 6th and Kobi Maslin 13th. 👏

Hockey Reps

This week, Beth O'Donovan, Jaimie Cantwell, Maggie Lundy and past pupil Cara Morrison were named in the Canterbury Under 18  'A' Squad. Maggie McGoldrick and Caitlin Tier have been named in the Canterbury 'B' Squad. 👏

Sophie Chitty and Pippa Jory

Sophie and Pippa attended the National Division II swim championships last week in Hamilton.

Sophie had four top-10 finishes and recorded personal best times in the 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle. She also placed 4th in the 1500m freestyle for 14 year old girls.👏

Pippa entered three events receiving podium finishes in two of these, coming 1st in the 14 year old girls 100m butterfly and 2nd in 14 year old girls 800m freestyle. 👏

Flounna Mosa

Flounna has been in Turkey representing New Zealand at the Little Miss and Mister Universe Competition. Flounna was crowned Miss Teen Universe Grand Prix winner, and won the best model award. 👏
