For the first time, a team from Villa competed at the Inter Secondary School Inter-Island Smallbore rifle competition.

These matches are held at ranges around the country with scores updated in real time to the groups at each centre. This year there were teams from Rangiora High School, Darfield High School and Ashburton College competing at Drayton Range in Christchurch. 

As a young team, our girls did incredibly well to compete against older students.

The whole group is based at The Darfield Smallbore Range.
