Creative writing success!
Assistant Head of the English Faculty and English teacher of Years 9 - 13 Annabel Wilson recently had two pieces short-listed in New Zealand's National Flash Fiction Day competition.
Annabel was placed 2nd Overall with her piece “Wayfinding”, and first in Canterbury. Both of her hybrid stories will be published in the upcoming Flash Frontier journal.
For students interested in extending their creative writing skills, share work and develop pieces for publication or competitions, all are welcome along to our Writers' Hub in the library on Friday lunchtimes. Perhaps you can have a go at writing your own flash fiction?
