An amazing collaboration from all Ako groups in an Easter act of Mercy

I would like to thank all Ako groups for their tremendous effort towards the Ronald McDonald Easter Baskets. My sisters Ruby and Molly started this initiative last year which was well supported by the staff and students. I have stepped up into the role of the Ronald McDonald Ambassador and have continued this initiative. I have been blown away by the generosity and presentation of all baskets. 

We delivered these baskets on Tuesday afterschool to Anne and the team at Ronald McDonald, they were amazed and extremely appreciative of Villa’s contribution to the families spending time during Easter at Ronald McDonald house. 

The baskets will be delivered to families at Ronald McDonald house and the Christchurch Hospital. They will also be used as prizes over the Easter break. Finally, a big thank you to Ms. Hood and Mrs. Lundy for safely transporting the baskets to the Ronald McDonald house.
