Entry Recommendation

Twelve Level 2 credits in Chemistry with at least two externally assessed standards, including AS 91164 structure and bonding or on application to the Head of Faculty.

Introduction

This Level 3 Chemistry course is based on the Material World Curriculum Level 8 and is assessed to NCEA Level 3 Achievements Standards. This course is an excellent preparation for university chemistry and covers a wide range of topics and skills. More able students are expected to also sit NCEA Scholarship Chemistry.
