This week we cover cricket, marching, softball and touch

Cricket

Our cricketers did well to make the Gillette Plate Final at Hagley Park yesterday, going down to Cashmere High School by seven wickets. A highlight of the three-day CSS Tournament was Kate Cowan's unbeaten 41 in the team's win over Burnside High School. Some more photos are at the bottom of this article.

Softball

We want to acknowledge and congratulate Aimee Goodmanson for her achievements in Softball:

⚾ New Zealand Under-15 Squad

⚾ Canterbury Under-17 Squad - 1st base and catcher

⚾ Canterbury Under-19 Squad - 1st base (this team won the National Competition) 

⚾ PCU Team Member - won the National Open Club Champs in Christchurch last weekend.

Aimee doesn't seek the limelight, but we want to recognise her amazing achievements!

Marching

Last weekend Isabelle, Jayde and Cammie Inglis competed at the NZ Marching Championships with the Pioneers of Canterbury Under-13s. They came away with 2nd place for Technical Team, 2nd for Display Team and 2nd Champion Team. Well done girls!

Mikayla Messenger was in the Eclipse Under-18 team that came away with 3rd Technical Team, 3rd Display Team and 3rd Champion Team. Good job!

Touch

Good luck to our Super Touch team who are competing at the SISS Touch Championships in Belfast this Saturday and Sunday. Please come out and support the team if you get a chance. Their first game is against Columba College at 10am.
