Sunday 29 May - Saturday 4 June is Samoan Language Week 2022 and VLN Primary are celebrating with a competition to win some swag from Zoom.

Celebrate Samoan Language Week 2022 with VLN Primary and put a little gagana in your life by creating a short vid on Flipgrid.

If you're just learning, check out the cool activity pack from Te Papa and try out a sentence from PAGE 11 using Samoan words! Vowel sounds are the same as Māori, and the Samoan 'g' is like 'ng' in 'song'

Speak Samoan already? Teach us a phrase! Make sure to include the text so we can learn by reading along as you speak.

Be in to win some cool Zoom swag! Flipgrid entries in the running for a prize will need to include the text of Samoan words so we can read along as you speak. Three prizes will be drawn - primary, intermediate and secondary - so make sure to let us know your school name and level.
