Bullswool Farm Trips

Middle School Kaiako —

Rooms 10, 11, 12 and 13 visited the Bullswool Farm Heritage Park as part of their technology focus.

The tamariki from the four classes were split into two groups and visited Bullswool over two days.

One of the highlights of our visit was the Play Paddock - a fun and creative space filled with large, interactive sculptures designed by artist Tony Howse. Whilst playing and exploring, students observed how art, design, and the environment work together. Our tamariki gathered ideas to design and build their own play structures back at school. Our trip linked to Technology curriculum - as students explored how materials, design, and purpose can work together to give back to and improve our environment.

Thank you to the whānau who joined us on the trip to help with transport and supervision.
