It was a lovely day for the first of two Future Horizons programmes in 2023. One hundred and ten Years 10 & 11 students took part in taster courses, career experiences, or to learn new skills. Included was Creative Media, Health/Nursing and Interior Design at Wintec, Tourism at Hobbiton, Barista at Industry Training Solution, Makeup Artistry at Elite School of Beauty, Aviation at Waikato Aviation, and First Aid.

After two years of being unable to offer this programme due to Covid, it was great to provide these opportunities to students again, which are at no cost to families. The students were keen to get out and about today to try new things, as shown by the 100% attendance rate on all courses.
