We are very excited to be relaunching our Exchange programme with Downe House School for Girls, United Kingdom. Our exchange partnership dates back to 2016, with Downe House being one of our most popular exchange destinations.

Due to COVID-19, unfortunately, this is the only exchange available at the moment for our Year 10 students, but we are in the process of negotiating with our other exchange partnerships around the world, so hopefully, there will be some other exchange possibilities for your daughters in Year 11. For this Downe House exchange, we are looking to select two candidates.

Downe House is one of the country’s leading full boarding schools dating back over 100 years. The school is home to about 530 girls aged 11- 18 years and is located just outside Newbury, amongst 110 acres of beautiful wooded parkland. This is a full boarding exchange (with exeat weekends with the host family) - this means that in a four-week period there will be one weekend spent with the family and the remaining weekends will be spent in school but with a couple of outside trips/activities organised by the school as well as the various in house Christmas festivities.

The proposed timings for this exchange are:

• Dio to Downe House: Term 4 2022: approx 16 November – 14 December 2022
• Downe House - Dio: Term 1 2023: approx 20 March - 15 April 2023 - please note that this hosting period includes the first week of the April school holidays.
