From the Principal

Mary Curran —

Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning Ms Gina Fitchett and I will be away from school from Saturday, 8 June, to Tuesday, 18 June. During this period, we will travel to China on behalf of the boards and our school community to promote an exciting new partnership project with The Education Bureau of Zhejiang Province of China.

This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our school's international connections and provide our students and staff with unique opportunities for growth and development. The programme will establish a partnership between our school and a counterpart in Zhejiang Province, encompassing both short-term and long-term fee-paying student exchanges and teacher training programs.

A highlight of our visit will be the official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the partner schools. This ceremony marks the formal beginning of what we anticipate will be a fruitful and mutually beneficial collaboration.

We are excited about the potential this partnership holds for enriching our educational environment and broadening the horizons for both our students and staff. We will keep you updated on the outcomes of our trip and look forward to sharing more details upon our return.

Mrs Sonja Maree will be acting principal in my absence.

Blessings

Mary Curran
