Recent Results

Swimming

Sophie Hay (Year 12) has had a wonderful swimming season so far and is amongst 40 swimmers named on the Swimming New Zealand Long List for the Youth Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Trinidad and Tobago in August.

  • Sophie has broken both the short and long course 1500m Waikato records,
  • She came second in the gruelling 10km in the New Zealand Open Water Championships Women's Under 15-17 Age Group and was 4th overall
  • She came 3rd in the 5km New Zealand Open Water Championships Open Women's race.

And the most impressive result is that Sophie was also the Top Senior Swimmer in our 2023 Dio Swimming Sports!
