• 29 January: Auckland Anniversary Day. School closed.

30 January

• Staff only day. School closed for instruction.
• Year 9 Boarders return to boarding at 3:00 pm (Parents are invited to stay for afternoon tea with their daughters from 3-3:45 pm in the dining room).
• Year 13 student leaders who are boarders return to boarding by 7:00 pm. Dining room is closed.
• Peer Support students who are boarders return to boarding by 7:00 pm. Dining room is closed.

31 January

• Year 9 students' Orientation Day, meet outside the Chapel from 8:30 am. Year 9s require morning tea and lunch, pens & pencils, PE gear, swimming costume, towel and caps.
• Year 9 ID photos taken, Nancy Light Hall.
• Peer Support training - 9:30 am to 12:20 pm, PMC2
• Year 10 Boarders return to boarding by 7:00 pm. The dining room is closed for dinner.

31 January - 2 February

Year 13 Camp - National Park

1 February

• Year 10 students return to school. Report to Chapel at 8:30 am. All students will need their devices.
• Year 9 Orientation continues. Year 9s require morning tea and lunch, pens & pencils, PE gear, swimming costume, towel and caps. Dress in PE House colours.

2 February 

• 8:30 am Form Time for Year 9 and Year 10 students, go straight to form classroom. Normal school day.

2-6 February

• Boarding Exeat (boarding students depart Friday after school and return Tuesday, 6 February)

5 February

• Staff only day. School closed for instruction.

6 February

• Waitangi Day - School closed.
• All boarding students return to boarding between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The dining room will be closed.

7 February

• The whole school returns

- 8:30 am Form Time

- 8:45 am Powhiri in the Chapel. All new Dio families are warmly invited. Please gather outside the Chapel from 8:30 am. (Follow parking directions at Martin St gate).

8 February

• Student Leaders and Arts and Sports Captains training 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

• Clubs Day & Sports and Arts Expo 1:15 - 2:20 pm, Gym

12 February

• Chapel Service for the Investiture of the 2024 student leaders and their families: 1:45 pm.

13 February

• Shrove Tuesday

• Ash Wednesday

• Photolife Day. All year levels ID and form class photos.
• Year 9 Meet the Teacher Afternoon 3:45 - 5:00 pm. Details to follow.
• Parents' Association Year 9 Parents Mix and Mingle 5:00 - 6:00 pm, Cherrington Lawn.
• Year 10 Literacy and Numeracy Parent Information Evening 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Chapel.
