Our goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive and achieve their best.

Congratulations to Year 11 science superstars Sarah Wang, Chloe Hopkins, Cate Young, and Gabriella Schuitemaker, who won the years 11-13 EPro8 Challenge Grand Final!

As Term 2 draws to a close, it is a good time to wrap up the first half of the winter season. Below is an update of what has been happening in the sports world around our Kura.

We are delighted to announce that Dio's Bel Suono choir, directed by Mrs Maria Colvin, and accompanied by Mrs Angela Smith has been selected for the New Zealand Choral Federation The Big Sing Finale for the third year in a row!

The Careers Department has had a productive term, with numerous events and activities, and much more is planned for the upcoming term.

In June, the French Years 12 and 13 students had a 'friendly' quiz with Cambridge High School, Hillcrest High School and Hamilton Girls' High School students. Well done to all who participated; our Dio students were fabulous ambassadors for our kura and showed great prowess, especially in the 'Name the Song' round. We look forward to fostering our relationship with local schools with further events planned in Term 3!

It's hard to believe that we are halfway through the school year already! The Parents' Association would like to thank everyone who came along to The Voices Of Hope evening. This was an educational and inspiring talk about mental health, resilience and how we as parents can understand and support our daughters as they navigate real life issues.
