Barbershop
Espresso Barbershop chorus and quartets Dolcelatte and Piccolo competed at the national 'Young Singers in Harmony' competition on 13 September in Auckland. After much hard work, time and effort, both quartets performed fantastically. These performances landed Dolcelatte in 19th place and Piccolo in 23rd place overall. Congratulations, barbershoppers!
Espresso performed exceptionally in the chorus competition, earning themselves a 9th place overall! This event was such a great opportunity for everyone involved, and we would like to thank the staff and whaanau who have supported Espresso and barbershop throughout the year.

Congratulations to the Dio Jazz Band on their Bronze Award at the recent Waikato Band and Orchestra Festival.

Congratulations to the Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band for achieving 9th at the World Pipe Band Champs in Glasgow - featuring Dio Old Girl Ishbel Eade (Class of 2021) on drums!
