Quiet study space upstairs in Bishops Hall by Jacqueline Smith

Boarding Site Improvements

Dio CommunicationsJanuary 29, 2024

Our property team, led by Property Manager Vince Maree and Senior Caretaker Jason Worsley, have been busy overseeing the upgrade of Bishops Hall, painting and carpeting of upstairs and downstairs common areas and offices. With the move of our Communications and Marketing Team to the Homestead, Whaea Kim (our Y10 House parent) will be found upstairs in her new office, next to our newly established study and meeting spaces.

In addition, air conditioning units have been installed in Moxon and Herft dorms. Unfortunately, over the next month, we will have to stagger the start-up of these units across boarding in the afternoon to cool the air in order to avoid a power outage. This is due to a delay from WEL Energy upgrading the power connection to the new transformer installed outside Moxon Flat.

We are very grateful for the hard work of Mr Vince Maree, Mrs Jason Worsley and Mr Eunhyun Choi with the upgrade, the moving out and the furniture ready for the start of term one. Junior boarding staff will continue rearranging and beautifying Bishops Hall as the year progresses.
