Holland House has been super busy this term with our annual boarding lip sync and NCEA Level 2 really kicking off. In amongst the business of sport and academics, all the year 12 boarders made the time to rehearse and learn our lip sync dance to the song ‘Who Runs the World’. All the effort paid off, as we came away with first place and the lip sync cup for the second year in a row - big thanks to Lucy Glover for putting in the time and patience to choreograph it. Since then, a lot of time has been spent on winter sports and many hours have gone into house singing to make the most of the special night.
Another highlight of this term would be our holland house cupcake decorating night, put together by the heads of house with the assistance of Ms Klink. This was a fun night giving everyone a chance to come spend time together in the last week of term while decorating and eating cupcakes.
After such a busy term we are all counting down the days until the holidays begin and we can’t wait to come together again at the beginning of next term with some exciting events planned!
