We had 12 very keen Years 11-13 students at school on a Teacher Only Day to complete a practical unit as part of their Barista course. They will not only now have valuable employment skills but also seven Level 2 & 3 credits towards NCEA.
This is just one of the courses being run at school this year offering Years 11-13 students vocational skills.

- Self Management - 8x L2 credits - 1 day online
- Hospitality Essentials - 9x L2 credits - 1 day online
- Store Detective - 7x L3 credits - 1 day online
- Interview Skills - 10x L3 credits - 2 days of July holidays in Hamilton
- Leadership 101 - 12x L3 credits - 2 days of October holidays in Hamilton
All of the courses require no time out of classes, and the online options on Teacher Only Days are great for boarders who may otherwise not be able to attend.
