I joined the School Association when my daughter was in Year 9 so I could meet other parents, get an insight into what was happening at the school and be able to help where I could with various Association activities. Over the years, I have attended meetings where possible. I have been involved in the funding sub-committee for the past three years. We assess applications to the funding criteria to distribute raised funds amongst sporting, art and cultural groups to support them in their events. This will be my last year on the committee, and I have enjoyed my small part in being involved in the School Association.

Our current Chairperson will be standing down from the role and will remain for a period of handover time, to ensure ease into the role for a fresh focus and continuation of the Association.

"I have been the Chairperson for over three years, and while it has been a challenging period in history with the challenges of Covid, the Association has continued to support the school through fundraising, and keeping our girls front of mind, while connecting as best we could with the community. Over my tenure, I have had the pleasure of being part of a dedicated group, that shows passion and interest, in their daughter's journey through high school, and without doubt, we have had some fun along the way. By being involved, I have gained knowledge of the mechanics of the school, and the work others are prepared to put in. I encourage you to be involved, gain insight into the school, meet some dedicated people, and support our girls".
