The year is well underway, and the girls have begun wholeheartedly throwing themselves into their academic and extra-curricular activities. The momentum of the year is rapidly gaining traction!

At Waikato Diocesan School, we value international education opportunities and encourage our students to embrace the chance to experience living and learning in different countries. As of next Thursday, 29 February, all Dio students (years 9 to 13) must put their phones away for the day under the new Government regulations where students cannot use or access their phones while attending school, including break times

Reflect on Respect

Our International Department is rebuilding following COVID-19. We have the resources to enrol 36 International students, though we currently have 13. Over the past four years, we have had 25 students graduate from Waikato Diocesan School.

On Wednesday, 31 January, we departed Dio with 94 students and 12 staff to explore aspects of National Park.

The school year has begun, and it is lovely to see the school alive with the chatter and laughter of students. As parents, we want our daughters to be happy at school, make friends, and reach their academic potential. The Parents' Association aims to support our school in these endeavours and help build a strong parent community.

The Mathematics Department has started Thursday lunchtime tuition for Years 9 to 12. There is also a tuition slot for students yet to gain the Numeracy assessment.
