Spring is slowly beginning to creep into our days. You can certainly see it and smell it around Cherrington at the moment. Soon all the cherry trees around the Chapel will be bursting into bloom. I’ve also noticed that when I wake up in the morning and leave school in the evening the sky is not so dark and I know that it will be getting lighter as each day arrives throughout the term.

For seniors, Term 3 also sees us racing towards the business end of the term’s academic programmes, with practice exams in Week 8 and Winter Tournament preceding this in Week 7. So our young women will need to fine-tune their time management skills over the term as they prepare for both endeavours. As always, staff are available to support as needed.

Added to this we have a large variety of events scheduled this term and I look forward to seeing many of you at them throughout the term.

It’s vitally important that we encourage our students to balance their days by setting achievable goals, being physically active, eating healthily and getting plenty of sleep.

Attached are three individual research summaries from the International Coalition of Girls Schools that you may find interesting to read!
