Our Level 2 Sports and Exercise Sciences students participated in an Aquathon this week as part of an assessment. The event required a blend of physical endurance and mental toughness, with students swimming seven lengths of the school pool followed by a 4km run.
As they crossed the finish line, students were filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride, whether they achieved their personal best or completed the event without stopping. Congratulations to all who took part.
Earlier this month, the Year 13 Sports and Exercise Sciences class assessed hazards and risks through outdoor activities. They tackled Mt Karioi, which provided some fabulous learning experiences. Well done, team!
