Term 4 started with our annual Sports Awards, a celebration of all things Sport@Dio. We extend a huge thank you to all our student speakers who brought the Awards to life and shared their experiences of their time at Dio and over the last 12 months: Carys Foot, Kate Stephens, Becky Dudson, Petra Pratt-Rink, and Te Aumihi Haggie.

We acknowledge our fantastic guest speaker, double Olympic Rowing Medallist Kerri Williams, and the hard work of many Dio staff (not just the Sports Department!) who contributed to ensuring this event was successful. Thank you to our outgoing Head of Sports, Alex Peoples, for your incredible contribution this year and well-deserved recipient of Team of Year (GU18 4+ - rowing), Sports Leadership and Leavers Cup Awards.

Congratulations to Molly Roberts, recipient of the Fair Play Award, Becky Dudson, recipient of the Patterson Trophy for Senior All-Rounder, and 2023 Hall of Fame Inductee and Sportswoman of the Year Kate Findlay for her outstanding achievements in Touch.

Finally, congratulations to the 2024 Head of Sport, Lilli Parres. We look forward to working with you next year.
